In this 1.5h static pole dance workshop, we will explore how to create a connection between yourself and the audience by intentionally moving single body parts while dancing a combination. Using your hip, ankle, neck, shoulder, back to hypnotise and draw in your spectator, starting a visual conversation between your sensual body and their eyes. The level is upper beginner in heels.

Mary will guide you into creating your own persona or alter ego through song, outfit and name selection. She will teach you how to utilise that to seduce your fellow students, bringing your fantasy to life through presence, attitude, and movement. When performing I go by the name Mary Hoochie. I have been a stripper/adult performer for over 4 years. In this time I have mostly worked as a stripper, but also dabbled in other branches of sexwork. In my performances my favorite thing is to interact with my audience. The goal is to shock them but to make them fall in love with me at the same time.

What stories does the body hold? How does the body communicate when words are not enough? In this 90 minute static pole dance freestyle workshop, we will explore these questions and more as we use storytelling as a guide of movement. Through a series of exercises and play, participants will engage in evocative storytelling by accessing a range of emotions and alchemizing them through dance.
